Trips from Cheverny

Cheverny - Chambord: This tour starts at the Château de Cheverny. Take time to admire the rich furnishings inside the château, walk around the gardens and see the pack of hunting dogs. Then it's on to the largest château in the Loire Valley: Chambord! After 18km of trails through the countryside and forest, you'll arrive at the Château de Chambord. During your visit, don't miss the ingenious double-revolution staircase and the rooftop terraces for a 360° view of the estate. You can also wander around the immense park on foot or by bike! For your lunch break, enjoy a picnic with a sumptuous view of the château.

Cheverny - Blois: After visiting the Château de Cheverny, which inspired Moulinsart in Hergé's adventures with Tintin, follow the path to Blois for 25km. The landscape along the way is dotted with vineyards, all set in lush countryside! Once you've arrived in Blois, where you'll reach the town via the banks of the Loire, take time to visit the Château de Blois and its Musée des Beaux-Arts, or the Maison de la Magie (House of Magic) just across the square. Once night has fallen, enjoy the Son et Lumière show in the courtyard of the Château de Blois, where its history will be recounted to you on its facades (simultaneous translation available in 10 languages with audio-language device).
